As a complement to our selection of façade access systems Manntech also offers a façade cleaning system, which is optimally used in conjunction with Manntech equipment, but can also be operated (after certification) with other devices.

Features of automated window and façade cleaning:

• Cleaning capacity of up to 500 square meters per hour
• Cleaning is possible 24 hours per day
• Complete building cleaning possible – that includes windows, window frames as well as remainder of façade e.g. aluminium or stone elements
• Low water usage - from approximately 150 litres per hour
• Instant dry and clean façade
• Cleaning with cleaning solutions possible

The principle:

The Washrobot replaces the usual person operated suspended platform by means of a computer aided steering control mechanism. A façade track is not absolutely necessary. The device rolls on air inflated wheels along the façade over all surfaces and is held in place by use of a vacuum. In particular, for each respective façade, selected brush systems can clean beautifully and effectively. Through a special high-pressure fan, the surfaces are dried and the residual water is drained or dispersed via a ventilator as fine spray back into the environment. All kinds of environmentally friendly cleaning solutions can be used.

Through cleaning the complete façade the result achieved is a cleaner more impressive building.

The façade cleaning system is produced and developed by Manntech in co operation with the firm SkyBot and is completely manufactured and distributed by Manntech.
